In case you haven't heard, "HoCo" dance tickets are on sale now! Help us spread the word to others but don’t delay in securing your spot as 142 tickets have sold already! While the October 5th Thursday dance promises to be *awesome*, it’s merely the kick-off event to a host of Hawks Homecoming festivities and surprises you will NOT want to miss!
On Friday, families are invited to cheer on our current athletes and returning alumni at refereed soccer, volleyball, and basketball games. Face painting, spirit contests, and a pep rally are planned as well as a few surprises we're keeping under wraps until the big event! Did we mention that alumni that participate in the games will receive a free jersey with their name on the back? Hawks young and old are all invited to wear *the most* FHS colors to show your team spirit throughout this truly exciting afternoon and evening.
Unable to attend Thursday or Friday homecoming events? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered! Saturday we hope you’ll come out to Burke Lake for BYO picnic and lawn games. We’ll provide the beverages and a few other surprises!
Sound fun? We hope you’ll join us! Friday and Saturday events are free but registration is required through the new FHS website. Please refer to the detailed registration instructions at the bottom of this email.
Register by September 1st if you (alumni too!) want to purchase a HoCo ‘23 t-shirt! Additionally, alumni registering by Sept. 1 to play in games will receive a free personalized jersey! All shirts will be distributed at HoCo events, with jerseys given at games.

*FHS invites all homeschoolers, regardless of FHS affiliation, to attend the Homecoming dance.

6:00 pm Opening Ceremony & Welcome (GMU)

Homecoming Registration Instructions:
- Go to fhs-aa.org and click on ‘registration’.
- Click on the hawk and then click ‘sign in to begin registration’ on the next page.
- Sign in or click ‘create an account’ if you don’t already have one. If you haven’t registered with the new FHS site, but your children have played rec sports with SYA, Burke Basketball, CYA, or some of the other rec sports organizations in the area, you may already have an account with Demosphere (our website host) and can sign in with that log-in information.
- Click “register a participant/player” and select one family member. Please note: one family member can represent the entire family for Homecoming registration. It is unnecessary to register each individual person.
- Select “Homecoming 2023” from the dropdown menu and follow the prompts to complete registration.
*Since the varsity basketball try-outs have not yet taken place, current FHS basketball players can be registered as spectators for the basketball game, even though they may end up on the court as a member of the varsity team.
*While there is no cost to participate in homecoming events, payment will be required for HoCo t-shirts at the conclusion of the registration process.
